Rather than rebuilding the same chart configuration each time, you can save your current chart as a reusable template. Saved charts preserve your studies, Chart Tool instances, settings, and overall chart configuration, making it easy to apply the same analysis to any chart instance with just a few clicks.

Whether you maintain different chart setups for trend analysis, trading, or long-term investing, saved charts help you switch between your preferred layouts quickly and consistently.

Save a Chart

Save your current chart configuration to reuse it later.

1. Open the chart More Actions (...) menu in the lower right corner of your chart instance
2. Select Save chart.
3. Enter a descriptive name for your saved chart.
4. Click Save.

Best Practice: Use descriptive names to quickly identify your saved chart templates.

Load a Saved Chart

Apply a previously saved chart configuration to the current chart.

1. Open the chart More Actions (...) menu.
2. Select Load chart.
3. Choose a saved chart from the list.
4. Click Load chart.

If the current chart contains unsaved changes, you'll be prompted to either:

• Save Current Chart before loading the selected chart, or
• Load Without Saving to replace the current configuration.

This helps prevent accidentally losing recent changes.

Manage Saved Charts

You can easily organize and maintain your chart templates directly from the Load chart window.

To manage a saved chart:

1. Open the chart More Actions (...) menu.
2. Select Load chart.
3. Hover over the saved chart you want to manage and click the ellipses menu (...)

From here, you can:

• Rename a saved chart to better reflect its purpose.
• Duplicate a saved chart to create a copy that can be modified without changing the original.
• Delete a saved chart you no longer need.

Tip: Rather than modifying your primary chart templates, duplicate them first. This lets you experiment with new studies or settings while preserving your original template.
