Located at the bottom of the Studies/Tools/Conditions/Favorites menu's are the Cursor Controls. These allow users to further customize their Symbolik experience.

Click the Expand/Collapse icon to toggle between the standard and minimized Chart Tool panel. The standard panel is a text-based display that lists all available studies, tools, conditions and favorites, but requires more space. The consolidated toolbar provides access to this same information while requiring significantly less screen real estate.
The Cursor Magnet pulls the mouse to nearby price outputs to select significant values with greater precision. Disabling the magnet utilizes the pointer's exact chart coordinates in all drawings.
The Draw Tool Lock persists the selected tool after each drawing for continued use. Disabling the Draw Tool Lock reverts a tool to the standard pointer after each drawing.
This tri-state button allows you to toggle the display between Labels & Lines, Labels Only, and No Labels or Lines across all drawing tools. Labels & Lines shows vertical and horizontal lines and axis labels to track your mouse movements with greater precision. Labels Only displays axis labels without the crosshair lines, for greater visibility on the chart. And No Labels or Lines removes all cursor references to reduce visual distraction. (see below for custom label and lines options)
Global Cursors display price, date and time coordinates (from the Labels and Lines setting) across all of the tab's chart instances. Disabling this selection restricts Labels and Lines to a single chart. |
Custom Settings for Labels, Lines and Global Cursors
In the Chart Settings you can customize the Labels, Lines and Global Cursors. You can choose the line style, size and color and you can choose the axis label colors as well.
Changes made in the Chart Settings from the HUD (pictured) will change for your current chart window. System Settings from the Profile Icon changes the default for when you open new tabs, workspaces or chart instances. Scroll to the bottom to change the settings listed under Global Cursor.
