Manage Chart Tool Instances

The Manage Chart Tool Instances menu is accessible from multiple places within Symbolik:

• Clicking the Manage Chart Tool Instances icon in the upper right corner of the chart window
• Clicking the Ellipses menu in the bottom right corner of the chart
• Right-clicking anywhere within your target chart and choosing Manage Chart Tool Instances from the pop-up menu.

The Manage Chart Tool Instances Menu allows users to quickly and efficiently manage the chart tools enabled on their chart.  You can hide, edit, or remove individual chart tools. There is a button in the lower right corner to remove all studies. You can use the Duplicate Tool button in the lower left corner to duplicate a study or tool. 

Layering

If you click on a study or tool, you can use the up and down arrows to move the study up or down the hierarchy and layer the chart with the tools in your preferred order. 

When you move Price Data to a lower layer than the study, you can see that the studies line is now above the price data.  Price data is default to the highest priority on the chart.

When you move one study above/below another, you can see that it changes the display priority of the studies.

From the Heads-Up Display (HUD)

You can also quickly change the layering of the tools and studies from the HUD.  

Click the Ellipses Menu when hovering over the study name.  Go to Layering and you can choose to:  Bring forward, Send backward, Bring to front or Send to back.

Oscillator and Chart Panel Placement

A useful component of the layering options in Symbolik is the ability to control where and how your oscillator panels and chart panel are located.  You can re-order and move the panels by clicking on their individual Ellipses Menu, going to Panel Placement and you'll have options to Move Up/Down and Move to Top/Bottom.
