Welcome to Symbolik. The guide below will help get you familiar with the platform so you can get up and running quickly.
Charts
Charts are the fundamental components within the Symbolik platform. Use your mouse or keyboard to interact and navigate historical charts.

Chart Search: Select your chart security and timeframe using the Chart Search feature. Search by symbol or instrument name and change between intervals by entering the desired time period or typing a comma followed by the historical interval (i.e.
AAPL,Dfor a Daily Apple chart;,Mfor a monthly chart; or,10for a ten-minute chart).

Price Data: Choose the Chart Type you want displayed on the chart such as Bar (OHLC), Candlestick, Line, or Mountain.

HUD: The Heads-Up Display (HUD) provides market data and information about the underlying ticker symbol as well as the exchange it trades on. The color of the exchange name indicates whether the data is delayed or real-time.

Time Scale (X-Axis): Displays the date and time of the chart's underlying ticker symbol. Click and drag the Time Scale axis to zoom in and out of the chart.

Price Scale (Y-Axis): Displays the price of the chart's underlying ticker symbol. Click and drag the Price Scale axis increase or decrease the displayed price range.

Chart Context Menu: the
icon below the Y-Axis provides a list of options to configure the chart.

Snapshots: Click on the
icon to take a snapshot of your chart in a dedicated weblink.
Chart Tools
Add Studies, Draw Tools, Conditions, or your Favorite tools to the chart via the Chart Tools panel. Studies are automatically added to the chart while Draw Tools require user interaction. Custom Conditions can be added to charts as well as power Symbolik’s Scanning and Alerting engine.

Studies is where you can access all of Symbolik's extensive list of Technical Studies as well as any add-on studies you have purchased such as the DeMARK Indicators.

Draw Tools is where you can choose your cursor display as well as add interactive draw tools to the chart.

Conditions displays a list of all your custom conditions that can be visually displayed on the chart or used as inputs for Symbolik's Scanning or Alerts functionality. Conditions are only available with the Symbolik Advanced service plan.

Favorites is where you can save your favorite or most widely-used Studies, Draw Tools, or Conditions in a single location.
Analytical Tools
Access powerful Analytical Tools from the icons at the right of the platform. Create Portfolios of your securities and run Study, Price and Condition-driven Scans and Alerts to stay on top of the markets.

Portfolios is where you can create custom watchlists of the ticker symbols you follow.

Quoteboards allows you to monitor a market index or a custom portfolio of symbols to help follow the markets.

Scans helps identify when your custom conditions are currently active or have recently occurred within an index or your custom portfolio. Scans are only available with the Symbolik Advanced service plan.

Alerts will notify you when a particular ticker symbol meets your specified criteria. Alerts are only available with the Symbolik Advanced service plan.

News keeps you informed of any major breaking news stories from over 50,000 news sources and blogs.

Symbolik Social is a financial community where users can communicate, educate and collaborate on trade and investment ideas.

Notifications contains a historical record of all your Scans, Alerts, and Snapshots.
Workspaces
Enhance your workflow by creating and customizing your own Workspaces, helping organize your charts and easily toggling between symbols or chart settings.
Each Workspace can contain up to 6 chart tabs, and each tab can have various single or multi-chart layouts.
Multiple Workspaces are only available with a subscription to Symbolik Plus or Advanced.
