Data Coverage
Symbolik delivers a breadth of market data and financial information through its sophisticated cloud-based architecture and integrated ticker plant. Our servers process billions of trades and study calculations every day while delivering information to customers quickly and cost-effectively.
Data is available on either a real-time, delayed, or End-of-Day basis, depending on the market and data source. Current data coverage includes US Equities, Futures*, Indices*, ETFs, Forex, Cryptocurrency, and Economic data from FRED.
Prediction market data from Polymarket is also available. Due to the large number of prediction markets created, each market is assigned a unique symbol in Symbolik. Unlike traditional markets, prediction markets have a finite lifespan and expire once the underlying event is resolved. †
* Index and Futures Data is available as End-Of-Day data only. However, Real-Time quotes on indices matching ETF's are available on the Cboe-BZX exchange.
† When searching for prediction markets, keep in mind that Symbol Search currently works best with shorter, more targeted keywords. Searches containing multiple words or spaces may not return all available Polymarket results under All. For best results, refine your search using more specific keywords, and select the Prediction tab after entering your search to view matching prediction markets.
How to View Real-Time Equity Data
To view real-time data on the Cboe BZX Exchange, enter your equity symbol in the Chart Search and in the dropdown menu select the symbol with a "CBOE BZX" green box next to it. Alternatively, you can enter your equity symbol and type in .BZ (e.g. SPY.BZ) and hit Enter. You can also set CBOE BZX as your default exchange, see below.
In the HUD (Heads-up Display) you will see a green data tag indicating real-time data. Delayed data is indicated by a orange box, and end-of-day data is indicated by a red box.
How to Change Your Default Exchange
In the Settings Menu (profile link in upper right corner) you can select your default exchange options. For Example, if you prefer your equity charts in real time, you can make CBOE BZX your default exchange, and then you do not have to choose that option every time you type a symbol.
