You'll see five icons in the lower portion of the Tool Menu.  Clicking the 4th image controls data labels and crosshair lines.  

The default is Arrow Only.  Click once and you will get crosshairs and data tags. Click a 2nd time and you'll have only data tags.  Click a 3rd to go back to the default, arrow.

You can also edit the data tags and crosshairs line type and color.  In the Chart Settings from the HUD will change for your current chart window.  System Settings from the Profile Icon changes the default for when you open new tabs/workspaces/chart instances.  Scroll to the bottom and change the settings for Dynamic Cursor.
