Symbolik is a very stable charting platform and rarely do service interruptions take place. If a major service outage occurs, we will communicate those events with users via Status Messages at login. However, some user may experience performance issues from time to time. Here is some more information and troubleshooting tips you can take:
Symbolik transmits more data than many other charting websites, this is because all calculations are done on our server side, instead of on your device. This is what provides the security necessary for the world class 3rd party market study providers like DeMARK, ATM and Larry Williams to provide their top of the line studies on a web based platform. These have historically only been available on institutional software based applications like Bloomberg and CQG.
Symbolik transmitting more data than other sites can increase the chance of performance issues, We have found the following are the most common occurrences, if possible review your system to ensure that none of the following are interfering with the data.
- International ISP's blocking data, slowing or stopping performance.
- Corporate Network/VPN.
- Firewalls, ad-blocking or anti-virus software.
- Browser extensions.
We also suggest using chrome based browsers. Symbolik is optimized for use on Chrome. You may also try Chrome's Incognito mode to avoid any browser extensions causing performance issues.
