Draw tools help you in your technical analysis, market timing, recognizing price patterns, locating support and resistance levels in recognizing price patterns, confirming trends and much more.

To access the Tools menu, click the pencil icon in the upper left corner of the chart display.

Cursor Options

The top section of the Tools menu give you the option of choosing your cursor.  You can choose, Arrow, Crosshairs or Target.  You can further customize your choice by using the Cursor Controls buttons at the bottom of the tools menu.

Adding and removing Tools to a chart

Click on the Draw Tools icon in Chart Tools to open the Tools panel. Select the tool and apply to your chart.  Note that some draw tools require multiple clicks depending on the nature of the tool.  For example, a 'horizontal line' only requires one click to set the level.  Whereas a 'ray' requires two points to be selected as noted below.

Tool Instances, Customization and Presets
