Use a multi-chart layout to improve speed and efficiency of chart analysis. Analyze multiple symbols, or multiple intervals at the same time.
Multi-Chart functionality is available with the Symbolik Plus or Symbolik Advanced service plan.
Adding Multi-Charts to your Layout
As seen in the image above, you can add Multi-Charts to your layout by splitting the screen horizontally or vertically.
You can access these options from one of two menus.
- Right Click Menu: Right Click anywhere in the background of your Symbolik chart and find the Split Chart options.
- Chart Settings Menu: You can find the Chart Settings Menu in the lower right corner of the chart. Click on the ellipses to access.
Active Chart
In a multi-chart layout, you can make one chart “active” by clicking on it. Depending on your chart theme, you can distinguish the active chart by a border that is either darkened or highlighted.
Customizing Studies and Intervals on your Multi-Charts
When you click one of the multi-charts, it will become the active chart, and you'll see that it is highlighted. Any symbol changes, studies added or intervals changed will apply to this chart only.
There is an option to link all charts together, so when you change the symbol in one chart, it will apply to multiple. Learn more about linking your charts together here.
Resizing Your Multi-Chart View
Click and drag the border between the Multi-Chart windows to resize and organize your layout.
Removing Multiple Charts to your Layout
To remove a chart from your multi-chart view you can use the right click menu or the Chart Settings Menu in the bottom right corner.
Right click the chart you wish to remove and click Remove Chart. Or, left click the chart you wish to make active, open the Chart Settings Menu and click on Remove Chart.
